Honda Accord

Honda Accord is a FWD (front wheel drive) large car (EPA size class) with relatively high success in US despite a decrease in sales in the recent years. It comes with either a 2.0L or 1.6L engine with various configuration and in hybrid models too. Power band ranges from 192 hp, 192 lb.-ft on the turbo 1.5L and 252 hp, 273 lb.-ft on the 2.0L turbo engine. Hybrid model comes with a total of 212 hp of power and a full-on electric torque (232 lb.-ft). That is a respectable number for a small size engine. Honda brings a host of features in this car that includes not only safety features but some cool nifty features as well. Some of these include the Honda Sensing Suite (Collision Mitigating Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System), Radar sensing, Low speed braking control, Auto High Beam and much more. The standards of 2021 have been implemented without missing anything from the competition.

While sales have not been the best thing about Accord, it surely has the potential for being the top selling large car. The hybrid’s mileage per gallon might not be the brightest in the room, but the reliability of Japanese engine and a better performance even with small engine overshadows the mileage. Present with various options in the petrol and hybrid model, Accord can be a staple car for the mileage and power-hungry maniacs. Surely, it is not the high-speed chase car, but is definitely a plush ride, low maintenance and fuel consumption car. In a overall package, it is an ideal city car with some weekend highway traveling.
